The 12th Annual East Africa International Arbitration Conference (EAIAC) 2025 took place on 25th and 26th September 2025 in Abuja, Nigeria!
WADR had the singular privilege to have partnered with the EAIAC 2025 as a strategic partner. We hosted a session dubbed “Bright Minds, Early Hours: Ideas Before 9:00 AM”. The topic of this event was “Arbitrating Under Fire: Women Neutrals and Survival in Africa’s Resource Conflicts.”
The keynote speaker, H. E Ambassador Isaac Parashina, our distinguished speakers Dr. Tolu Aderemi, FIAP and Nania Owusu-Ankomah, FCIArb made some wonderful remarks that shed light on the challenges women face in participating in international arbitration as well as in navigating resource conflicts.
